Donald Keith Amburn

Mr. Donald Keith Amburn, age 59, of San Augustine, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2024, in San Augustine.

Keith was born July 24, 1964, in Newton, Texas, to parents Wanda Mae (Walton) and Ruby Bonell Amburn and had lived in San Augustine for over 30 years. He was self-employed owning a lawn care service, faithfully serving his clients for several years before his retirement. He was a member of White Rock Baptist Church. Keith and Stacy L. Hickman were married June 2, 1984.

His survivors include his wife, Stacy L. Amburn of San Augustine; his sons, Josh Amburn Sr. and wife Regina of San Augustine, Jeremy Amburn and wife Victoria of Georgetown, and Jonathan Amburn of San Augustine; grandchildren, Joshua Amburn Jr. and Leighlah Amburn, both of San Augustine, and Jackson amburn of Georgetown; a brother, Dennis amburn and wife Carol of Merryville, Louisiana; mother-in-law, Sherlyn Hickman of Pt. Neches; a sister-in-law, Gwen Hickman of Groves; and a brother-in-law, Hardy Hickman Jr. and wife Sherry of Bridge City.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby Bonell and Wanda Mae Amburn; a sister, Diane Bailey; grandmother, Lela Walton; and his father-in-law, Hannon Hardy Hickman.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Monday, May 6, 2024, at Wyman Roberts Funeral Home in San Augustine.

Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at the Wyman Roberts Memorial Chapel. Committal service and interment will follow at Spann's Chapel Cemetery in Shelby County.
