DONATIONS COMING IN FOR CHAMBER’S CIVIC AUCTION - Debbie Jackson (L) of San Augustine Drug Co. donated this item to the Chamber of Commerce’s Civic Auction which will be held on July 27th at the Expo Building. Accepting the donation was Chamber Executive Director Lea Ann Bennefield (R). The Chamber is still in need of donations of merchandise and money for the upcoming event. Tribune Photo

To prepare for her new duties Cat recently attended the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Coordinator training in St. Louis Missouri. LOCAL FIRST RESPONDERS HONORED - Pictured above are some of the local First Responders who were honored during the Glenda Harrison Memorial 9/11 Remembrance event which was held on September 11th in the San Augustine District Courtroom. All of the San Augustine Firefighters in attendance and several law enforcement and ambulance personnel responded to a one vehicle accident during the 9/11 Remembrance ceremonies and were unavailable for the photograph.
