Diana Maxine Hair

Diana Maxine Hair, aged 82, passed away on September 14, 2024, in Nacogdoches, Texas. Born on July 16, 1942, in Dallas, Texas, Diana dedicated her life to her family and her faith, serving as a faithful servant of God and an integral part of her community and church for over 25 years.

Known for her warm and welcoming nature, Diana never met a stranger and was a friend to all. Her zest for life and infectious laughter brought joy to those around her. She embraced her role as a housewife and mother, nurturing her family with love and dedication. She often said if you left her house hungry, it was your own fault. Diana left her mark of love in a huge way and she will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughter, Dayna Ivory and her husband Bobby of Douglass, Texas; grandchildren, Jonathan Beebe and family in Florida, Jacquelyn Beebe and her husband, Guy Blankenship of Texas City, Texas, along with grandson Asher and a soon-to-arrive great-grandchild. Diana also leaves behind her sisters, Stephanie Pobitschka and her husband Bernie, their children Diana and John, and Lucinda Cook of Porter, Texas, along with her sons, Robert and Daniel.

Diana was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Elenor Powell, and her husband, Jim Hair.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. 

Cremation arrangements are being handled by Starr Funeral Home.
