Sabine Valley District 70th Annual Session of Christian Education

Sabine Valley District Congress of Christian Education will be convening June 9-12, 2025.

The week will be a full week of great biblical teaching and gospel preaching.

On Monday evening, June 9th at 7:30 p.m. will be the Grand Congress Musical. All congress activities will be held at 1803 Barrett St. The Theme: “The Challenge to Change: Serving the Present Age with an Unchanging Gospel”.

Monday, June 9th-5:00  p.m. Official opening of Congress, (5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. will be the class periods nightly) followed by the Grand Musical; Tuesday, June 10th, Inspirational Message will be given by Pastor Deshmond Johnson of Mount Horeb Baptist Church, Pastor Julius Teagle of Rocky Mount Baptist Church will bring the Congress Message. On Wednesday, June 11th, 2025 the Youth’s Hour will begin at 7:30 p.m., Sis. Reva Davis and Sis. LaRenda Watts will be the Director and Co-director; Pastor Daniel Holman of New Jerusalem Baptist Church will give the Deans Address.  Thursday, June 12, 2025 Pastor David Mosby with St. Matthews Baptist Church will give the President’s Address. Nightly courses and Instructors: Pastor Anthony Jackson – 2011 Baptist Doctrine; Pastor Cedric Grace – 6021 Spiritual Formation; Pastor Sylvan J. Clark – 1007 Survey of the Old Testament; Pastor Orvin Garrett – 1072 Survey of the New Testament; Pastor H.F. Johnson – 1004 Effective Bible Reading; and Pastor Michael Jenkins – 8002 Organizing an Effective Prayer Ministry. 

There will be great instructional classes, seminars, lectures and much more.
