Funeral Services for Mr. Vonnie Ray Jone, 91, of San Augustine will be held on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at New Hope Baptist Church beginning at 11:00 AM. Rev. Goerge Simon will officiate the service, and interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Viewing will be held on Friday, July 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 6:30 PM at Garner & Son Chapel.

He is survived by his wife, Odeal Jenkins Jones of San Augustine; four sons, Melvin Jones and wife, Rita; Eddie Jones; Harry Jones and Kennith Jones, all of San Augustine; daughters, Cheryl Jones of San Augustine and Vonnie McArther of Tyler; thirteen grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Percy Garner & Son Mortuary will be in charge of the arrangements.
