ELIZABETH ANN “TUNIE” ROBERTS SOWELL

Funeral services for Elizabeth Ann “Tunie” Roberts Sowell, 66, of Houston will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Reed Chapel Baptist Church with Rev. Orvin Garrett officiating with visitation prior to services at Percy Garner and Son Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mt. Zion Cemetery. She departed from this life on August 21, 2023 at Houston Methodist Hospital in Sugarland.

She is survived by five children Valerie Roberts Bluford of Houston, Kendrick Roberts and wife, Dellemtria, of Katy, ShaElizabeth Sowell Linton of Houston, Shannon Sowell and wife, LaQuinta, of Houston and Mister Raymond Sowell of Houston; 19 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; one sister, Alice Hale and Jewel of Lufkin; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Arrangements are under the direction of Percy Garner and Son Mortuary.
